Manage GDP Cloud billing

GDP billing management starts from an explicit action in Profile. Me the Tech validates the exact attached provider subscription before returning a fresh HTTPS billing portal; that portal is a billing surface, not local GDP execution authority.

Open billing management from Profile

Sign in to the Me the Tech account that owns the GDP Cloud subscription.

Open Profile and select GDP Cloud.

Use Manage billing when the current subscription exposes that action.

If the subscription is still pending immediately after checkout, wait for the billing-provider confirmation to reach Profile before assuming billing management is broken.

The billing button is intentionally tied to a manageable provider subscription. Its absence on a pending or uncorrelated state is different from a portal navigation failure.

Use a fresh, validated provider portal

Profile does not rely on a billing portal URL stored on the page. An explicit Manage billing action asks the server for the current provider subscription and a fresh portal response.

Before exposing the portal, the billing adapter verifies the expected subscription identity, store, product, environment, and plan variant. Returned management URLs must use HTTPS on Lemon Squeezy domains; malformed or mismatched provider data fails closed.

The customer portal URL is required for a successful management response.

Optional payment-method or subscription-management links can be unavailable without being invented by GDP.

Portal URLs are response data for the current action rather than durable billing URLs written back into GDP subscription storage by the retrieval step.

Reconcile billing state without guessing

If Profile says billing management is temporarily unavailable, retry from the explicit Manage billing action rather than reusing an old portal URL.

If checkout has just returned, compare the current Profile subscription state after provider confirmation instead of treating the browser redirect alone as subscription proof.

Use the billing and cancellation support path when the attached provider subscription cannot be managed from Profile or the account relationship needs human review.

Keep billing outcome separate from GDP execution evidence: a paid, cancelled, or updated subscription does not prove that a patch, command, commit, push, or provider Send occurred.

Billing state can affect hosted service eligibility or capacity. It does not bypass GDP Desktop target, policy, lease, or execution controls.
